To Spoof Or Not To Spoof: That Is The Question

Caller ID Spoofing - have you heard of it?  It’s the newest and most efficient way in which protect both your identity and your phone number when making phone calls to any call  recipient.  With phone hacking and voicemail hacking in the news these days we are all searching for a safer way to communicate.  Caller ID spoofing is an easy and affordable solution.

Caller ID spoofing is also referred to as Caller ID replacement or Caller ID masking.  The service itself has been around for about a decade, but with the recent phone hacking scandals in the news, it has become even more popular than it was in the past.  To call spoof one only needs to register for services via a call spoofing company.  An individual can choose to have a limitless plan, or be charged per spoofed phone call.

Caller ID replacement allows a caller to make a phone call either from a landline or a cellular phone while hiding or manipulating the identity and phone number the recipient sees on their Caller ID display.  Sounds easy right?  Well that’s probably because it is.

To make a phone call you simply type in the identity in which you want to use and simply make your call.  The great thing about Caller ID masking is that there are loads of additional features that come with the service.  A business or individual can record phone calls for professional or personal needs.  It is also possible to use ‘static spoofing’ which allows you to use the same manipulated phone number and identity with every phone call made.  This cuts down on the effort and time necessary to make spoofed call.

To spoof or not to spoof: that is the question.  If a person chooses to spoof their phone calls they are protecting themselves in many ways.  First, they are hiding their identity from the call recipient.  This is especially necessary when calling credit collectors or large corporations that wish to sell you something.  Nobody wishes to receive harassing or sales calls after making an inquiry on a product, service or even your amount of debt owed to a collection agency.

Secondly, a call spoofer is protecting their phone number from being linked directly to their name.  It has been proven that voicemail hacking and phone hacking begins with a hacker simply linking your name and phone number.  With identity theft being such a serious and current issue, nobody wants to have to deal with the repercussions of such a violation.

To spoof means that you and your family are protected from violators of your personal information that are currently and consistently searching lines of communication for info.

Don’t be another phone hacking or voicemail hacking victim. Choose to use Caller ID spoofing with every phone call you make.
