The Sony Ericsson W395 Black is one in a long line of phones by Sony that offer outstanding musical features. It includes within its arsenal of features an FM radio as well as a Walkman Mp3 player. The phone is a relatively small unit which measures 97mm x 47mm wide whilst being 15 mm thick. However its size does not have any relevance to its capabilities which are extensive.
The Walkman player integrated within this handset offers excellent quality sound reproduction. All major formats can be played including MP3, WMA and AAC. Additional music aids include the popular TrackID music recognition feature, which offers the opportunity to locate details of a particular track. Internal memory on the phone is 10 Mb which can be expanded by using the memory stick micro slot, up to 4 Gb.
The phone comes with a 2 megapixel camera which is suitable for taking effective snapshots whilst on the move. The camera operates at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Video recording and playback are able to also be taken through the camera which offers a useful alternative if desired. The phone comes with additional picture editing software to enable the user to edit images whilst still on the phone.
A 2 inch TFT screen is provided with the phone which displays 256,000 colours. This is colourful and ensures vivid reproduction of images with the 176 x 220 pixels size of the screen display. A central navigation button provides the means of accessing features and is simple to use and responsive.
The phone comes with a menagerie of connectivity options which include GPRS, HSCSD and EDGE.
